One day, a collector said to me:

“Why don’t you paint humans?”

So I asked him to stand with his back to a white canvas, and I traced the first outlines...

Since that moment, enthusiastic silhouettes have crossed my canvases , sometimes extended by electronic circuits, a nod to our telephones, which have almost become extensions of ourselves.

With Man in Action , I pay homage to Leonardo da Vinci and his Vitruvian Man, in a contemporary, poetic and free version. The tissue papers , the natural pigments , the suggested gestures , translate the movement , the lightness and the vital impulse .
