Humans – A Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci

A vibrant tribute to Leonardo da Vinci

One day, a collector told me:

"Why don't you include humans in your paintings?"

So I asked him to stand with his back to a white canvas, and I traced the first outlines…

Since that moment, enthusiastic silhouettes have crossed my canvases, sometimes extended by electronic circuits, a nod to our phones, which have become almost extensions of ourselves.

With Man in Action, I pay homage to Leonardo da Vinciand his Vitruvian Man, in a contemporary, poetic, and free interpretation. The tissue paper, natural pigments, and suggested gesturesconvey movement, lightness, and vital energy.
