Le Parisien : Stations at Tapiézo!
Tapiézo exhibits his works in three Parisian train stations simultaneously: Montparnasse and Pasteur-Vaugirard for the large formats. Gare de l'Est is chosen for the more intimate formats! During the hanging of the 4m x 2.40m formats, Tapiézo is in a basket 8m above the ground. At that same moment, the journalist and photographer from Le Parisien, Philippe Desprez, arrives. To signal his presence, the journalist has to shout. A very loud conversation ensues because François Tapiézo doesn't want to get out. He has 25 works to hang under the glass roofs of the station, and it's progressing slowly. " I was so worried about the hanging... Finally, it was the SNCF agent who convinced me to get out for the interview with the newspaper Le Parisien."
